Making cookies with my mother, I learned the practice of “felt” cooking…a recipe that turned about to be more about life than about cookies. Mom always said, “The best part of cooking is sharing it with others.” In this gospel lesson Jesus lays out for us, his disciples, a recipe too, a recipe for discipleship.
